Job summary

Signature HealthCARE of Chapel Hill is seeking an experienced RN for a full-time day shift (7am-7pm) in North Carolina. The role involves direct nursing care, medication administration, and supervising nursing staff to ensure quality resident care.

Requirements include an active RN license in NC, CPR/BLS certification, and at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience; long-term care experience and EHR familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in the state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience; long-term care experience preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration and wound care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety.
• Supervise nursing assistants and medication aides on the assigned shift.
• Monitor residents’ physical and emotional status; notify physician of changes.
• Develop and review individualized resident care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
