Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital offers a 12-month RN Residency Program beginning February or March 2027, designed to transition graduates into professional nurses through education, mentorship, and peer support.

Participants will train across units such as Medical/Surgical, Transplant, Cardiac Progressive Care, Critical Care, Emergency Department, Operating Room, Cardiovascular Operating Room, and Women’s Services, gaining curriculum-based learning and hands-on practice.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or new graduate nurse entering a residency program.
• Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC multistate license.
• BLS CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• The Staff RN provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.
