Job summary

PAM Health Wiregrass Ranch is opening a brand-new rehabilitation hospital this fall and is hiring Registered Nurses to join the team. You will utilize the nursing process to plan, direct, and supervise patient care on the unit, coordinating interdisciplinary care and discharge planning from admission through post-hospitalization.

ACLS/BLS are required, with ACLS to be obtained within 90 days for most roles. One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing is preferred, but not strictly required.

Qualifications

• Holds a current RN license in the state where hospital resides or compact licensure accepted
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment
• Experience: one year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise care to patients admitted to the unit
• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care including interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning
• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization and connect patients with community resources
• Charge Nurse duties may be required; ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses
