Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Katy in Houston, TX is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate inpatient care on our medical-surgical unit.

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer and Nursing leadership, the RN will plan, coordinate, and provide patient care, discharge planning, and patient/family teaching, with ACLS within 90 days and BLS current.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state where the hospital resides.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise patient care.
• Plan, coordinate, and provide care including discharge planning.
• Teach patients and families for post-hospital care.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team and community resources.
• May perform Charge Nurse duties as needed (ACLS required).
