Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for an Inpatient Rehabilitation unit in Conroe, TX. This 13-week contract offers a Day Shift (7A–7P) with 36 hours per week and every other weekend. The RN will join a 24-bed unit with a dedicated team and Expanse EMR, providing coordinated therapy and medical care.

The role requires at least 1 year of inpatient or rehab nursing experience, BLS certification, and completion of a cardiac arrhythmia review test. ACLS is a plus.

Job Description

Join our Inpatient Rehabilitation unit, which has 24 beds and a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. You will be part of a collaborative team that focuses on fostering patient independence while ensuring safety. The unit utilizes equipment such as Hill-Rom beds and supports documentation through the Expanse EMR system. Patients receive a total of three hours of therapy per day, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy, along with necessary medical treatments like dialysis and IV medications.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication and perform nursing procedures as required.
• Collaborate with therapy departments to optimize patient care.
• Monitor patients, ensuring their safety and comfort during rehabilitation.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.

Required Experience

• One year of inpatient or rehabilitation nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Completion of a cardiac arrhythmia review test.

Certifications/Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificate is preferred.
