Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for inpatient rehabilitation in Orlando, FL for a 13-week contract. The position is night shift (3x12 hours) requiring strong bedside nursing and collaboration with the rehab team.

The RN will perform assessments within 8 hours of admission, develop care plans, educate patients, document care, and participate in discharge planning to ensure safe transitions. BLS is required; ACLS may be required for some facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of bedside clinical experience.
• Active RN license is required to practice.
• BLS certification required prior to first shift.
• ACLS certification may be required for select facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission, forming individualized care plans.
• Identify patient education needs and collaborate with patients and the interdisciplinary team for goal setting.
• Provide timely communication of patient status during team conferences.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the medical record.
• Participate in the patient rehabilitation program, prioritizing education and patient involvement.
• Initiate discharge planning upon patient admission, including anticipation of teaching before discharge.
• Communicate changes in patient status to ensure continuity of care and patient safety.
• Support and supervise ancillary nursing personnel, providing direction and training as needed.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff, adhering to all safety policies and procedures.

Job Description
