ARMStaffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse, Rehabilitation for night shifts in Plano, Texas. The role focuses on providing specialized rehab care for patients recovering from stroke, TBI, spinal cord injuries, amputations, and orthopedic injuries at the Texas Rehabilitation Hospital in Plano.

The position requires 2–3 years of inpatient rehab/medical-surgical nursing, an active RN license, and willingness to work nights with weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–3 years of nursing experience in inpatient rehabilitation or medical-surgical settings.
• Current RN license required; CRRN preferred but not required.
• Night shift availability and ability to work weekends every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for rehab patients aged 18 and older.

Night shift from 18:45 to 07:15, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week and weekend work required every other weekend.

Job Description

The Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Plano is a state-of-the-art, 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to supporting individuals in their journey to regain independence following an injury or illness. This nursing role focuses on providing specialized treatment and care for rehab patients recovering from conditions like stroke, TBI, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injuries, including post-surgical hips and knees.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for rehab patients aged 18 and older.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to formulate and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and document outcomes using the Cerner electronic health record system.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, discharge procedures, and self-care.

Required Experience

Minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience in inpatient rehabilitation or medical-surgical settings.

Certifications/Licensure
