Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking an RN to provide direct patient care in the MedSurg unit at 3 South, with a weekend option schedule and work location at UAB St. Vincent's Birmingham.

The role requires a nursing diploma and Alabama RN licensure, plus BLS certification within 30 days of hire. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective patient care and smooth discharge planning.

Qualifications

• BLS within 1 month (30 days) of hire date.
• Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing and professional licensure at time of hire.

• Serve as primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

• Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing AND professional licensure at time of hire required.
