RWJBarnabas Health's Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ seeks a part-time RN in Pediatrics Unit. The role includes daytime shifts 7a-7:30p, caring for patients from infant to age 21 in Pediatrics and PICU, strong assessment and care delivery, documentation in EPIC, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Active NJ RN license, BLS/NRP, BSN preferred, and at least one year of Mother Baby experience are required or preferred for consideration; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS & NRP certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• At least 1 year Mother Baby patient care experience; EMR experience (EPIC) desirable.

The PRN will work in both Pediatrics and Peciatric ICU caring for patients & their families from Infant to age 21

As a Registered Nurse (RN), a typical day may include:

• Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and recognize subtle clinical changes, using your judgment to intervene early and advocate for your patients
• Providing safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands on care grounded in strong clinical judgment
• Serving as a clinical partner to physicians and advanced providers, offering insight that supports timely, well-coordinated care decisions
• Providing clear, compassionate education to patients and families so they feel informed, supported, and prepared for the next phase of care
• Ensuring accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record to promote continuity and patient safety

To be considered for this RN opportunity, you must hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing and a current American Heart Association BLS & NRP certification.
