Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a Nurse Manager for Nursing Administration at UAB St. Vincent's Birmingham. The role oversees staffing, workflow, and resources for the assigned unit(s) and ensures regulatory compliance and budget adherence.

Qualifications include Alabama RN licensure and BLS certification, with 3 years of experience and at least 1 year in leadership. This on-site position offers comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification must be obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire or transfer date.
• Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• Monitor and adhere to budget. Approve or monitor expenditures, purchases and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.
