Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a Registered Nurse for PRN shifts in the 3 Main, Med Surg department. You will provide direct nursing care, coordinate multidisciplinary care, and plan patient discharges within the Birmingham system.

The role requires a nursing diploma and active RN licensure in Alabama, with BLS certification. Prior RN experience is preferred. Benefits for eligible positions include PTO, parental leave, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• One year of RN experience is required.

Qualifications

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required

Minimum Requirements:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing AND professional licensure at time of hire required. One year of RN experience is required
