Job summary

Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, Wisconsin, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Oncology Unit. This 0.8 FTE role (64 hours per two weeks) rotates day and PM shifts, with every other weekend and holiday. The RN provides specialized care across oncology services and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team.

Required ADN with WI RN licensure; BLS; chemotherapy certification within one year. BSN preferred. Competitive benefits and opportunities for growth are offered.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Love + Medicine to medical and oncology patients with complex care needs.
  • Care for patients across acuity levels, including IMC patients needing monitoring and intervention.
  • Collaborate with Palliative Care, Hospice and interdisciplinary teams to support patients and families.
