Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 18-bed Medical Surgical Unit. This 0.75 FTE role offers 12-hour rotating day and night shifts, every third weekend and holiday, with a starting pay of $38.96/hour and shift differentials.

Qualifications

Emplify Health by Gundersen has a Registered Nurse position available for our 18-bed Medical Surgical Unit. This is your opportunity to provide patient and family centered care in a healing environment while doing the work you love in the beautiful Coulee region.

What You Will Work

• 0.75 FTE; 60 hours every two weeks, 12-hour shifts rotating days (6:30am-7:00pm) and nights (6:30pm-7:00am) shifts, every third weekend and holiday

What You Will Do

• Provide LOVE + MEDICINE to both inpatient and observation patients.
• Care for a wide array of medical surgical patients with diagnosis such as CHF, COPD, Cellulitis, Weakness, Infections as well as some medically stable patients
• Work with an interdisciplinary team of clinicians, social workers, dietitians, CNAs, and RNs

What You Need

• Minimum of Associate Degree in Nursing
• RN licensure to practice in the state of Wisconsin upon
