Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI seeks a part-time RN for Emergency Services, a Level II Trauma Center. You will rotate 12-hour day/night shifts, contribute to patient-centered care, and work with a multidisciplinary team in a high-energy environment.

The role requires an Associate's degree in Nursing, an active RN license in WI or multi-state, and current BLS forHealth Care Providers, with a focus on compassionate care across all ages.

Qualifications

You will be expected to perform with a high degree of clinical and professional aptitude while helping deliver patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team of Providers, RNs, Paramedics, EMTs, Respiratory Therapists, Health Unit Coordinators, and Social Workers. Emergency Services, a Level II ACS-verified Trauma Center, is a high-energy, patient-centered environment consisting of 45 total patient exam rooms including ten Urgent Care rooms, five resuscitation/trauma/critical care rooms, and three dedicated Behavioral Health rooms that serve every patient population from infancy to the elderly. Patients have 24-hour access to laboratory, X-ray, and surgical services. We are also a Stroke Center with 24/7 neuro-interventional capabilities and a Chest Pain Center with 24/7 interventional cardiac catheterization lab capabilities. Emergency Services, a 2023 Emergency Nurses Association Lantern Award recipient, is recognized and acknowledged for excellence throughout the department through metrics and patient experience that is difficult to find anywhere else in the nation.What's Available:Part-time, 60 hours biweekly (0.75 FTE).
