Job summary

Mercy Hospital, Oklahoma City, is hiring an experienced RN for the operating room. This full-time position (36 hours a week, 3 12-hour shifts) focuses on patient safety and teamwork with surgeons and staff in a dynamic OR setting.

Qualified candidates will have an RN license in the hiring state or a compact license, BLS certification, and an initial readiness to complete any required coursework within 30 days of hire. Mercy offers strong benefits and career growth opportunities.

• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Preferred experience: 1 year of critical-care or OR experience.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Preferred experience: 1 year of critical-care or OR experience.
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements

• Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
