Job summary

Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team as an OR circulator. You will support patient care during 3 12-hour shifts per week in a fast-paced, safety‑driven environment.

If you hold an RN license, BLS, and 1 year OR/critical-care experience, you may qualify for a sign-on bonus and Mercy’s comprehensive benefits package, including tuition support and retirement plan matching.

Qualifications

• RN license in hiring state (or compact)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
• 1 year of critical-care or OR experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative RN circulator duties in the OR
• Maintain patient safety, sterile technique, and equipment readiness
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists and OR team to ensure smooth cases

Shift: Full Time (36 hours/week)

Schedule: 3 12-hour shifts/week

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).

• Preferred experience: 1 year of critical-care or OR experience.

• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis

• Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift

• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
