Job summary

Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. This full-time position (36 hours/week) offers three 12-hour shifts in a dynamic OR setting focused on patient safety and quality care.

Ideal candidates will have an RN license in the state or a compact license, a nursing degree (ASN/ADN, Diploma, or BSN), and ideally 1 year of CCU/OR experience with BLS certification or completion within 30 days of hire.

• Active RN license in the hiring state or a compact license.
• BLS certification or completion within 30 days of hire.
• One year of critical-care or OR experience preferred.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).

• Preferred experience: 1 year of critical-care or OR experience.

• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis

• Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift

• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
