Job summary

Mercy is hiring for an OR RN circulator in Oklahoma City. The role supports patient safety in a dynamic operating room, coordinating with physicians and staff across cases. This full-time position requires strong teamwork and a nursing degree with active RN licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Preferred experience: 1 year of critical-care or OR experience.

• Basic Life Support certification (or completion within 30 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care as the OR circulator.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative staff to ensure patient safety.
• Support turnover and room readiness for subsequent cases.

Location: Mercy Hospital - Oklahoma City (W Memorial Rd)

Shift: Full Time (36 hours/week)

Schedule: 3 12-hour shifts/week

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).

• Preferred experience: 1 year of critical-care or OR experience.

• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis

• Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift

• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
