Job summary

BayCare is seeking an RN for its IV Team at Bartow Medical Center in Bartow, FL. The IV Team RN cares for patients using nursing processes and clinical standards, delegates care as needed, and acts as a preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

The role supports BayCare’s commitment to clinical excellence and patient safety. Requirements include an RN license, BLS, and an Associate’s Degree in Nursing or Diploma; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

BayCare is looking for its newest IV Team, RNin Bartow, FL. The IV Team Registered Nurse cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. Responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization. Performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned. Promotes evidence-based clinical care that exemplifies the pursuit of clinical excellence.

Licensure & Certification:

• RN license is required
• BLS is required

Education:

Experience:

• Required 1 year acute care experience or 1 year interventional / procedural experience or 6 months RN acute care or interventional / procedural experience with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment
