Job summary

Gundersen Health System is hiring a Registered Nurse for the 20-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit in the Coulee Region of Wisconsin. This role features a 0.9 FTE, 72 hours every two weeks, with rotating 12-hour day and night shifts, every third weekend and two holidays per year.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patients through their rehabilitation journey. Ideal candidates hold an ADN (BSN preferred) with Wisconsin RN licensure and BLS, and are excited to empower

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure in Wisconsin upon hire.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
• New graduate and experienced RNs are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to individuals recovering from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, debility, and other complex medical conditions.
• Teach patients and families skills and self-care techniques to support recovery and maximize independence after discharge.
• Develop relationships with patients and families throughout rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to help patients achieve rehabilitation goals.
• Support patients toward improved mobility, function, confidence, and quality of life.
