Job summary

AccentCare in West Allis, WI is seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to join our interdisciplinary team. You will provide compassionate, patient-centered care at the top of your license, collaborating with families, physicians, and caregivers.

This full-time role features a Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm schedule, field work across Milwaukee and surrounding areas, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• RN license required in state of practice (WI).
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

What You Need to Know

Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care that maximizes comfort and quality of life
• Partner with patients, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary group to create and carry out care plans
• Perform comprehensive assessments-physical, emotional, social, and spiritual-to guide care decisions
• Educate and support patients and caregivers, meeting them where they are
• Coordinate care across disciplines to ensure continuity and dignity
• Document care clearly and accurately to reflect patient needs and progress
• Participate in oncall or admission rotations as needed
• Engage in ongoing learning and professional development

Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
• At least one year of nursing experience
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and appropriate auto insurance
