AccentCare in Washington DC is seeking a compassionate Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to join our interdisciplinary team. You will provide comfort-focused nursing care, collaborate with families and physicians, and develop and implement personalized care plans for hospice patients.

This full-time, on-site role offers a steady schedule with 8-hr days, potential on-call responsibilities, and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and professional growth.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of practice.
• At least one year of nursing experience.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and appropriate auto insurance.

• Provide individualized nursing care that maximizes comfort and quality of life
• Partner with patients, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary group to create and carry out care plans
• Perform comprehensive assessments—physical, emotional, social, and spiritual—to guide care decisions
• Educate and support patients and caregivers, meeting them where they are
• Coordinate care across disciplines to ensure continuity and dignity
• Document care clearly and accurately to reflect patient needs and progress
• Participate in on‑call or admission rotations as needed

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm with back up on call
