Job summary

AccentCare is seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) in Washington, DC to join an interdisciplinary care team. This full-time role centers on comfort, quality of life, and dignity for patients and families, with a Monday–Friday schedule and on-call back-up.

You will perform comprehensive assessments, coordinate care with physicians and the care team, educate patients and caregivers, and document progress clearly. Valid RN license in the state and at least one year of nursing experience required.

  • Partner with patients, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary group to create and carry out care plans.

  • Educate and support patients and caregivers, meeting them where they are.
  • Coordinate care across disciplines to ensure continuity and dignity.
  • Document care clearly and accurately to reflect patient needs and progress.
  • Participate in on‑call or admission rotations as needed.
  • Engage in ongoing learning and professional development.

Salary: $95,000 - $100,000 / year
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm with back up on call

Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice

  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and appropriate auto insurance
