Job summary

Pioneers Memorial Healthcare District is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care in the ER. The role involves assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of each patient, plus educating families to support recovery in a fast-paced environment.

CA RN licensure is required, with CPR, ACLS and PALS certifications. A minimum of six months on an acute care unit is expected to ensure safe, effective care delivery during swing shifts.

Job description

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse assumes responsibility for the total care, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of each patient assigned. He/she initiates healthcare training and education to the patient and/or patient’s family to facilitate recovery. Promote and assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean working environment. He/she will also provide safe, effective delivery of patient care in compliance with standards outlined in the facility procedure manual, as well as regulations set forth by the state, and federal agencies.

Department: ER #7010 Swing shift

Requirements

• Registered Nurse by the State of California
• CPR American Heart Association
• Minimum of six (6) months experience on an acute care unit as RN
• ACLS American Heart Association
• PALS

Salary and Pay Transparency

Position Pay Range: $36.00 -$57.00/hour
