Job summary

BayCare Health System is hiring a full-time RN for the Endoscopy department in Wesley Chapel. Candidates must have at least 2 years of RN experience, including 1 year in acute care, and hold a valid RN license. This role does not offer remote work and may involve weekend shifts.

Position Details

Location: BayCare Hospital Wesley Chapel, 4501 Bruce B Downs Blvd, Wesley Chapel, FL 33544

Status: Full‑time (non‑exempt)

Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

On‑call: Yes

Always in person; occasional weekend work; never remote

Summary of Responsibilities

• Independently cares for a sub‑specialty group of patients using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegates appropriate patient‑care activities to other members of the health‑care team.
• Maintains professional accountability and development according to best‑practice standards set by a nationally recognized specialty organization.
• Serves as preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

Required Experience and Education

• At least 2 years of RN experience, including 1 year in acute care.
• Associate’s or Diploma Nursing credential.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Preferred Experience

• 1 year of experience in Endoscopy, PACU, Critical Care, or Emergency Services.
• Procedural experience, especially Endoscopy, is strongly preferred.
• Interventional/Perioperative internship experience.

Certifications and Licensure

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department

Facility and Scheduling

BayCare Health System, Endoscopy‑WCH. Shift 1 (Days); occasional weekend work; on‑call available. Never remote.
