Job summary

Aspire Physical Recovery Center at Cahaba River, part of NHS Management, LLC, is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our interdisciplinary team in Birmingham, Alabama. The RN will provide compassionate, patient-centered care, aligning with individualized care plans to meet physical, emotional, and social needs of residents.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, current BLS/CPR, and preferably ACLS.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license and current BLS/CPR certification.
• ACLS certification a plus.
• Strong clinical skills in geriatric and rehabilitation care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care to residents in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting.
• Assess, monitor, and document residents' health conditions and progress.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with facility protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding care plans and health conditions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Foster a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for residents.
• Supervise and mentor nursing assistants to ensure quality care delivery.
