Firelands Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse in Critical Care for the night shift (7p-7a) on a full-time basis. The role emphasizes high-quality patient care, accurate documentation, and collaborative teamwork in a fast-paced ICU setting.

Requirements include an active Ohio RN license and CPR; ACLS and EKG proficiency are needed or obtained within 6 months. CCRN/TNCC are preferred within 2 years. The hospital offers strong benefits and a supportive work culture.

• ACLS, Basic EKG, ECCO required or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• CCRN and TNCC certification is preferred within 2 years in area of expertise.

What You Will Do:

• Implements the nursing process with patients including carrying out physicians orders regarding diet, medication and treatment in accordance with Firelands standards of care.
• Performs assessments; monitors and ensures quality care through observation and evaluation; documents nursing interventions on care plans, medical records, and reports findings to physicians as needed.
• Instructs patients, staff, and family members regarding treatments, nursing plans and related patient care directed towards a safe discharge.
• Responds to emergencies; maintains availability of medications and supplies; ensures cleanliness of equipment and environment.
• Demonstrate service excellence and acts as an ambassador and advocate for FRMC.

What You Will Need:

• Must have a current Ohio RN license and CPR prior to patient care experience.
• Prefer at least 1 year of experience.
• Current ACLS, Basic EKG, and ECCO required or obtained within 6 months of hire and remain current.
• CCRN and TNCC certification is preferred within 2 years in area of expertise.
• Excellent organizational, customer service skills, and computer proficiency are a must.
