Complete Care is seeking a RN Registered Nurse for a Full Time Night Shift at an agency-free facility in Maryland, Silver Spring. You will provide skilled nursing care to residents recently discharged from hospital and those needing long-term care.

Responsibilities include administering medications (oral, topical, IV, injectable), wound care and pain management, health assessments and care planning. You will educate families, document health status, collaborate with physicians and therapists,

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a RN in the State of Maryland.
• Able to pass background check, drug screen, and references.
• Professional and clinical leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications (oral, topical, IV, injectable).
• Perform wound care and pain management; apply dressings.
• Conduct health assessments and monitor changes.
• Create, update and implement individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists and social workers.
• Educate residents and families about health status and care.
• Document health status and all care, progress and interactions.
• Oversee and delegate tasks to LPNs and CNAs.

Administer Medications: Give oral, topical, IV, injectable medications

Treatments: Perform wound care/prevention, manage pain, apply dressings

Assessment & Monitoring: Conduct health assessments, track changes & analyze data

Care Planning: Create, update & execute individualized care

Collaboration: Strategize care with physicians, therapists, social workers & others

Family & Resident Education: Explain health status, changes and expectations for care

Documentation: Keep a detailed record of health status, all care, progress & interactions

Team Oversight: Oversee & delegate to LPN's and CNA's ensuring quality care/teamwork
