Job summary

Sterling Care Rockville is hiring an RN to supervise staff and ensure high-quality nursing care for residents in a respectful environment. You will oversee G.N.A.s and other team members, administer injections and medications within the RN scope, and maintain narcotics records.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides quality nursing care to Residents in a rights- and dignity-based environment.
• Provides supervision to G.N.A.s and subordinate staff, ensuring tasks are completed.
• Administers parenteral, intramuscular, and sub-cutaneous injections.
• Administers medications within RN licensure scope and maintains narcotics records.
• Reviews daily documentation of dispensing controlled substances and narcotics.

Qualifications for the (RN) Registered Nurse:

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Graduated from an accredited nursing program


• Registered with the state as an RN / Registered Nurse

Responsibilities as an (RN) Registered Nurse:

• Provides quality nursing care to Residents/residents in an environment that promotes their rights, dignity, and freedom of choice.


• Provides supervision to G.N.A’s and all subordinate staff which includes checking their work to ascertain that assignments have been completed.


• Administer all parenteral, intramuscular, and sub-cutaneous injections.


• Administer medications within the scope of practice of the RN Licensure. Maintain a current report of narcotics received and used.


• Review daily the documentation of the dispensing of the controlled substances and narcotics.
