Sterling Care Rockville Nursing seeks an experienced RN to supervise staff and safeguard residents' health and welfare in a compliant setting. The RN will administer medications, injections, and supervise G.N.A.s, ensuring assignments are completed accurately and safely.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduated from an accredited nursing program.
• Registered with the state as an RN / Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality nursing care to Residents in an environment that promotes rights, dignity, and freedom of choice.
• Provides supervision to G.N.A’s and all subordinate staff which includes checking their work to ascertain that assignments have been completed.
• Administer all parenteral, intramuscular, and sub-cutaneous injections.
• Administer medications within the scope of practice of the RN Licensure. Maintain a current report of narcotics received and used.
• Review daily the documentation of the dispensing of the controlled substances and narcotics.
