Job summary

Cypress Village is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee nursing care and supervise staff on 12-hour shifts at our Jacksonville skilled nursing center. Active CPR and Florida RN license are required, with at least 6 months of geriatric nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise direct care of residents and nursing personnel on shift
• Administer direct care as necessary
• Give and receive shift reports
• Round twice per shift to ensure proper care in a safe, clean environment
• Maintain accurate documentation of all care rendered
• Respond to the resident emergency call system
• Interface with other disciplines to assure continuity of care and services
• Accompany physicians during rounds
• Assist in developing comprehensive care plans
• Maintain confidentiality and resident dignity

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the overall nursing care/service and management of all personnel on his/her shift, including the accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation, and emergency calls, as indicated. Our RNs work 12-hour shifts caring for our residents at our skilled nursing center.
