Job summary

Cypress Village in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide quality care for residents in a beautiful senior living community. The role includes assisting with hygiene, feeding, bathing, and daily activities, while following care plans set by RN/LPN.

Flexible schedule with day/night shifts and weekend availability; benefits include PTO, health/dental/vision, and a 401(k). Training provided, equal opportunity employer and drug-free workplace.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification or upon hire.
• Florida CNA license required.
• Previous CNA experience preferred.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document services.
• Self-directed with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality-nursing care to residents, assist with hygiene needs, feeding, bathing and dressing.
• Measure and record temperatures and blood pressures.
• Observe and record residents' reactions to medications and treatments.
• Participate in organizing and prioritizing residents and unit activities.
• Follow a plan of care set forth by the RN/LPN; report pertinent information.
• Document daily ADLs accurately.
• Demonstrate empathy, dignity, and respect for residents.

• Salary: $17.00 per hour

Must have a current nursing assistant license (CNA) in the state of Florida
One year of C N A experience preferred
Current CPR and first aid certifications a plus
