Job summary

Cypress Village Retirement in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a compassionate CNA to provide direct resident care on 12-hour shifts, including weekends. The role supports hygiene, feeding, and daily activities, while documenting vital information for the care team and following RN/LPN plans.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification or upon hire.
• Must have CNA license in Florida.
• Previous experience is great but not required.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document services.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality-nursing care to residents, assist with hygiene needs, feeding, bathing and dressing.
• Measure and record temperatures and blood pressures.
• Observe and record residents' reactions to medications and treatments.
• Participate in organizing and prioritizing residents and unit activities.
• Follow the plan of care set forth by the RN/LPN.
• Report pertinent information to the RN/LPN.
• Document daily ADLs accurately.
• Exhibit empathy, dignity, respect and concern for resident wellbeing.
