Job summary

Cypress Village in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to manage nursing care on 12-hour shifts at our skilled nursing center. You will administer medications, document care, and respond to emergencies to ensure high-quality resident care.

You will supervise direct care, perform rounds, and communicate with physicians and families while helping develop individualized care plans. An active Florida RN license and CPR are required; 6 months geriatric experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Florida RN license.
• CPR certification currently active.
• Minimum 6 months geriatric nursing experience; supervisory exposure is a plus.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise direct care and nursing personnel on the shift.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed.
• Complete timely documentation and shift reports.
• Conduct rounds twice per shift to ensure safe, quality care.
• Communicate changes in residents' conditions to physicians and families.
• Develop and update comprehensive care plans.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the overall nursing care/service and management of all personnel on his/her shift, including the accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation, and emergency calls, as indicated. Our RNs work 12-hour shifts caring for our residents at our skilled nursing center.
