Complete Care Management in Colchester, CT is seeking an RN Registered Nurse (Direct Care). This PRN role offers growth opportunities and flexible scheduling for experienced nurses caring for clients recently discharged or in long-term care.

You will administer medications, provide wound care, perform assessments, participate in care planning, collaborate with physicians and therapists, educate families and residents, document care, and supervise LPNs/CNAs to ensure safe, quality care.

Qualifications

• Licensed to work within this state as an RN Registered Nurse.
• Able to pass background check, drug screen, references check & physical evaluation.
• Professionally & clinically skilled with leadership qualities.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications: oral, topical, IV, injectable meds.
• Provide wound care and pain management; apply dressings.

Here's What You'll Do for Our Residents:

Administer Medications: Give oral, topical, IV, injectable medications

Treatments: Perform wound care/prevention, manage pain, apply dressings

Assessment & Monitoring: Conduct health assessments, track changes & analyze data

Care Planning: Create, update & execute individualized care

Collaboration: Strategize care with physicians, therapists, social workers & others

Family & Resident Education: Explain health status, changes and expectations for care

Documentation: Keep a detailed record of health status, all care, progress & interactions

Team Oversight: Oversee & delegate to LPN’s and CNA’s ensuring quality care/teamwork
