Job summary

South Haven Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Day Shift (7:00 AM–3:00 PM) in Birmingham, AL. You will provide clinical care and lead a dedicated team to ensure residents receive personalized, compassionate care.

The role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus, pay of $32.65–$42.85 per hour, shift differentials, and a supportive leadership team within a modern facility that emphasizes growth opportunities and quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current Alabama RN license.
• BLS/CPR certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work with an interdisciplinary team in a skilled nursing setting.
• Resident-centered, compassionate approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver resident-centered nursing care to assigned residents.
• Complete assessments and monitor changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Develop and update individualized care plans.
• Supervise and mentor LPNs and CNAs.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapy, and pharmacy teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic documentation.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Foster a safe, respectful, and healing environment.

Position Overview

As a Registered Nurse at South Haven Health & Rehabilitation, you'll provide exceptional clinical care while leading a dedicated team of nursing professionals. Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Current Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Current BLS/CPR certification required (ACLS preferred)
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position

Preferred

• Long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing experience
• Charge Nurse or leadership experience
