Mercy is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Regional Float Pool. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for adult/geriatric patients across facilities in the Mercy footprint. Reporting and assignment details vary by facility upon hire.

The role offers incentives including sign-on, regional float pool perks, shift differentials, and strong education and retirement benefits. Experience in Med/Surg or ICU is valued, with BSN preferred and active RN licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• BSN preferred
• Current RN license in hiring state or compact licensure
• 1 year bedside RN experience for Med Surg, 2 years for ICU/other specialties
• BLS certification; ACLS for Critical Care
• Standing/walking, lifting up to 50 pounds

Responsabilités

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care per standards.
• Collaborate with diverse care teams across multiple facilities within Mercy footprint.
• Float across units including Med/Surg, Tele, ICU as needed.
• Provide patient education and ensure safety and quality in care delivery.
