Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its Regional Float Pool, covering multiple Mercy hospitals in the St. Louis region. The role focuses on bedside nursing across Med/Surg, Telemetry, Stepdown, ICU and more, with night shifts and a comprehensive benefits package.

You’ll work with diverse teams in a dynamic setting. Eligibility includes an accredited nursing program graduate, active RN license, and active BLS; ACLS for CC units is encouraged.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
RN license in good standing in the hiring state or compact license.
BLS certification required for Med/Surg and Behavioral Health; CC requires BLS and ACLS.
Epic experience preferred for ICU/ specialty units.
Two years of bedside RN experience for ICU/ specialty areas; one year for Med/Surg.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult/geriatric patients.
Provide care across multiple units via Regional Float Pool.
Collaborate with diverse care teams and patient populations.
Adhere to standards of nursing practice and safety protocols.
