Job summary

Henry Ford Health System is seeking experienced RNs for BestChoice contingent assignments in the Detroit area. Nurses will float among HFHS inpatient and outpatient locations in southeastern Michigan, selecting three hospitals to float between.

Opportunities include midnights, flexible scheduling, premium pay, and standard orientation with HFHS standards. This is a contingent, part-time pool role under BestChoice.

Qualifications

• Minimum 24–36 months of recent clinical nursing experience.
• Nursing degree from an accredited institution.
• Current RN license in the State of Michigan.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• C-EFM certification (NCC or Inteleos).

Responsibilities

• Float between Henry Ford Health System hospitals in southeastern Michigan.
• Provide bedside RN care in labor and delivery as needed during floating assignments.
• Adhere to HFHS standards, competency requirements, and BestChoice procedures.

BestChoice is Henry Ford Health System’s internal staffing resource pool, designed to ensure there is sufficient staffing throughout our health system. BestChoice provides a proactive solution to unplanned or short-term staffing needs due to vacations, call-offs, leave of absences, increases in census or acuity. BestChoice employees are Henry Ford contingent staff and experience the same new employee screening, orientation, education, and competency standards alongside all HFHS team members. Opportunities are available at most of our Henry Ford Health System inpatient and outpatient locations within the southeastern Michigan region. Nurses are able to float in their area of expertise and location(s) of their choice. We are currently looking for experienced RN's. RNs will be asked to select three hospitals to float between.

Certification / Requirements

• Minimum of 24-36 months of recent clinical nursing experience
• Nursing Degree from an Accredited Institution
• Current RN license in the State of Michigan
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS)
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFFM) NCC OR Inteleos
