Job summary

Henry Ford Health Staffing is seeking a contingent RN for shifts across Detroit-area hospitals. This role involves nursing intervention, patient care, and floating to designated hospital locations to meet staffing needs. Flexible scheduling supports work‑life balance and exposure to multiple units.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license (BSN preferred) with 2–3 years of clinical experience, and are comfortable floating to various sites while maintaining high standards of patient care and teamwork.

• Two to three (2-3) years of related clinical nursing experience.
• Willingness to float to multiple locations.

General Summary

Under general supervision, demonstrates ability to handle nursing problems and, in general, an expanded group of nursing practices. Performs nursing intervention across a variety of nursing situations. Identifies patient problems prior to explicit changes in patient-specific data collection (such as vital signs).

Henry Ford Staffing is a system-wide, contingent, float pool which offers the opportunity for an RN to work in a variety of settings throughout Henry Ford Health. Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Two to three (2-3) years of recent related clinical nursing experience in the area of practice and a demonstrated level of performance required.
• Willingness to float to multiple locations.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Certifications/Licensures Required

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS
• Current ACLS
• Current NRP
• Current C-EFM (Inteleos or NCC)
• TB, vaccines (i.e., flu).
