Job summary

Henry Ford Health System is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for BestChoice—our internal staffing pool. RNs will float across HFHS inpatient and outpatient locations in southeastern Michigan, selecting three hospitals to operate between and delivering care to patients in line withHFHS standards.

Opportunity to work day shifts with contingent scheduling, premium pay, and online self-scheduling. Minimum commitment enables flexible, team-based coverage across the system.

Qualifications

• Minimum 24–36 months of recent clinical nursing experience.
• Nursing Degree from an Accredited Institution.
• Current RN license in the State of Michigan.
• BLS Certification and ACLS Certification.
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Float between Henry Ford Health System inpatient and outpatient locations as assigned.
• Provide nursing care in line with HFHS standards across shift requirements.

BestChoice is Henry Ford Health System’s internal staffing resource pool, designed to ensure there is sufficient staffing throughout our health system. BestChoice provides a proactive solution to unplanned or short-term staffing needs due to vacations, call-offs, leave of absences, increases in census or acuity. Opportunities are available at most of our Henry Ford Health System inpatient and outpatient locations within the southeastern Michigan region. Nurses are able to float in their area of expertise and location(s) of their choice.

We are currently looking for experienced RN's. RNs will be asked to select three hospitals to float between.

Certification / Requirements

• Minimum of 24-36 months of recent clinical nursing experience
• Nursing Degree from an Accredited Institution
• Current RN license in the State of Michigan
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS)
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFFM) (NCC OR Inteleos)
