Henry Ford Health BestChoice/MISS is a system-wide contingent float pool for RN roles, offering opportunities to work across multiple NICU units as staffing needs arise. The role emphasizes flexibility, minimal commitment, and exposure to diverse clinical settings within Henry Ford Health.

Nurses in this pool float to locations as needed, with options for premium pay, shift differential, and online self-scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Two to three (2-3) years of recent related clinical nursing experience in the area of practice.
• Willingness to float to multiple locations.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

General Summary

Under general supervision, demonstrates ability to handle nursing problems and, in general, an expanded group of nursing practices. Performs nursing intervention across a variety of nursing situations. Identifies patient problems prior to explicit changes in patient-specific data collection (such as vital signs).
