Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certification
• ASN or Nursing Diploma required
• BSN strongly preferred
• 2 years experience in critical care nursing
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EPIC)

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize subtle clinical changes, intervening early and advocating for patients
• Assist in stabilizing patient conditions and organizing information for the physician
• Provide safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands-on care
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers for timely, well-coordinated care decisions
• Educate patients and families to ensure they are informed and supported for the next phase of care
• Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record to promote continuity and patient safety
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to drive smooth transitions of care
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment with shared accountability and growth opportunities
