The candidate must hold an active NJ RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications. ASN or Diploma required; BSN strongly preferred with a commitment to pursue within five years.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing
• BLS for Healthcare Providers and ACLS certifications required
• ASN or Nursing diploma required; BSN strongly preferred and encouraged to complete within five years
• Two years of critical care nursing experience required
• EMR experience with EPIC preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
• Assist RRT in assessing and stabilizing patient conditions and communicating with physicians.
• Administer safe, evidence-based medications and treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and providers to support timely, coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families clearly about care plans and next steps.
• Document accurately in the EMR to ensure continuity of care and safety.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to improve communication and outcomes.
• Engage in a collaborative team culture and pursue ongoing professional development.
