Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse in Georgia to independently plan and provide professional nursing care per physician orders and guidelines. The RN will manage care for an assigned patient group in alignment with Northside Hospital's philosophy and policies.

The role emphasizes collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment as core values in daily nursing practice.

Qualifications

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
  • Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

  • Independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
  • Manages care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital.
  • The practice of all professional nurses at Northside Hospital reflects values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The Northside Hospital Staff Registered Professional Nurse manages care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. The practice of all professional nurses at Northside Hospital reflects the values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.

  1. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  2. Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
  3. Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED:

  1. BSN degree
  2. Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
  3. Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
  4. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
