Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and state guidelines. The role emphasizes collaboration, communication, and empowerment within the care team.

As part of the nursing staff, you will manage care for an assigned group of patients and uphold the hospital's patient-centered philosophy and standards of practice across units.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must be certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients per physician orders.
• Follow established guidelines and the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
• Collaborate with care teams to ensure safe, effective patient care.

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The Northside Hospital Staff Registered Professional Nurse manages care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. The practice of all professional nurses at Northside Hospital reflects the values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.

1. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
2. Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
3. Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED:

1. BSN degree
2. Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
3. Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
4. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
