Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The RN will manage care for an assigned group of patients, reflecting the hospital's values of collaboration, communication, and empowerment, with a 7am-5pm schedule and no weekend or on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Licensed RN in Georgia in good standing.
• Current BLS certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Independently plans and provides professional nursing care per physician orders and established guidelines.
• Manages care for an assigned group of patients in line with Northside Hospital's philosophy and policies.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The Northside Hospital Staff Registered Professional Nurse manages care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. The practice of all professional nurses at Northside Hospital reflects the values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED:

• BSN degree
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units

7am-5pm
