Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and Georgia regulations. The RN collaborates with the care team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in alignment with hospital policies.

The role requires a valid Georgia RN license, BLS certification, and BSN is preferred. Work hours are 7am–5pm with no weekend or on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certification in American Heart Association’s Basic Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree preferred.
• Two years of experience as an RN preferred.
• Additional Life Support credentials (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
• Manage care of an assigned group of patients in alignment with hospital philosophy and policies.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The Northside Hospital Staff Registered Professional Nurse manages care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.

PREFERRED:

• BSN degree
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
