Job summary

Mercy is seeking an RN to provide comprehensive patient care using the nursing process and to coordinate care across departments. You will be accountable for the care of your assigned patients and uphold patient rights and confidentiality.

The role may require additional certifications (ACLS/ALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, PALS, etc.) depending on unit and shift. Mercy offers robust benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must hold RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, or completed within 30 days of hire.
• Additional unit-specific certifications may be required (ACLS/ALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, PALS, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for the care provided to assigned patients.
• Evaluates effectiveness of care by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information.
