Ochsner Health System seeks a Registered Nurse in Louisiana to lead a multidisciplinary team and manage operational aspects of patient care programs. You will coordinate education, support, and implementation timelines while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of nursing experience, including supervisory experience, and must hold a current RN license. Strong judgment and communication skills are required.
Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements in the Program. Identifies resources needed and manages day-to-day operational aspects of the Programs and updates the team on a regular basis.
Heavy work – Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Must be capable of moving and lifting boxes, equipment, and fixtures weighing up to 100 lbs. Must be able to move throughout the department, the hospital, and between off‑campus sites.
Duties performed routinely require exposure to blood, body fluid, and tissue. Incumbent works in a patient care area; works directly with patients and/or specimens that could contain diseases. There may be an occupational risk for exposure to communicable diseases.
